La Finale PGS, svoltasi a Salerno dal 31 maggio al 3 giugno, ha visto la partecipazione di compagini provenienti da tutta italia. Le ragazze di capitan Taverniti (Maria Grazia Calautti, Sabrina Cannizzaro, Ada Caponera, Anna Maria Costantino, Patrizia Crea, Fatima Lafandi, Virginia Vadalà e Francesca Versaci) riescono prima a dominare il girone e superare le semifinali, poi ad imporsi in finale con il risultato di 4-3 sulle padrone di casa della Enzo Raso.
